- The Broken Tusk Horde: A group of lycanthrope-worshipping barbarians claims this territory as their own. Comprised primarily of half-orcs, quarter-orcs, and humans, the Tusks aren’t especially hostile if they’re treated with respect. Their leader Vakgar is the most fanatic about Malar, and believes it’s his duty to lead the horde to beasthood. His direct family agrees, but the rest of the horde more neutral.
- Venomwood: a small, densely-wooded forest in the western part of the Plains. The forest earned its name from the wide variety of poisonous plants that fill the woods. Local Broken Tusks are immune to the noxious foliage, but many varieties are deadly to other humanoids. Herbalists from the tribe are often willing to show outsiders which varieties are especially useful – for a fee, of course, preferably a monster piece. Rumors told of lycanthropes patrolling the area, but the werewolf husband of Alaname, a priestess of moon goddess Selune, was probably behind those stories.
